BONOFIGLIO EARNS WMU SPOT

College coaches frequent the Twistars gym like hungry men frequent McDonalds. The flow of recruiters is consistent. Senior Madison Bonofiglio has been one of those athletes that simply impresses you. She impresses is so many ways. Yes, she does some pretty good gymnastics (Level 9 National Qualifier in 2012), but college coaches look far beyond the gymnastics skill. Maddie impresses with her character, her work ethic and her daily disposition in the gym. Few smile as often or as brightly. Western Michigan University head coach, Dave Kuzara, took notice. “She will add to our team … she brings attitude to the table and that is invaluable in college, “ he said.  Maddie is a gymnastics junky. She has been loving the sport for now going on 15 years. It is so wonderful to see her rewarded. Congratulations Maddie and GO BRONCOS!
